I am a professionally trained photojournalist who specializes in family, senior, business headshots, weddings, engagement, maternity and children (ages 6 months and up) portraiture. 

My husband, Andrew & I have two of the sweetest, sassiest daughters in the whole wide world. We live on a family farm in Frankfort, Ky. with our herd of kitties.

I’m a Buckeye who transplanted to the Bluegrass to attend the University of Kentucky.

While working as a photojournalist at The State Journal, I started Hilly Photography when I was only 24 years old.  I ran my business on the side until it became too big to do as a side gig. Since going out on my own, I’ve photographed 100+ weddings, countless number of family photos, seniors and the cutest kiddos Franklin County has to offer!

My business goal is to document your special moments and stages of life while proving to my daughters that you can be anything you want to be. As I’m reminded, “Strong women—may we know them, may we be them, may we raise them.”

I’m LBTQ+ (and any other letters in between) friendly. It is my pleasure to celebrate YOU through photos therefore I photograph all people-all religions, races, sizes, ages, etc.—y'all means all!

In my very unlikely spare time, you can find me by a bonfire with my family, carting my daughters everywhere, gardening, sipping on coffee (always!), re-decorating our house, listening to podcasts, cheering for my UK Cats or OSU Buckeyes, daydreaming of my next beach vacation, tinkering in our landscaping, creating DIY projects for my husband or having a much needed cocktail with my girlfriends.
